Capoeira - A Mischievous Art Form
A truly Brazilian sport, capoeira is described as a mix between martial arts, dance, and gymnastics. This site, based in California, gives an overview of the sport, with music samples, photos, history, recommendations of books and records and links. Strangely, there's not any mention about places to learn in Brazil itself.

American Brazilian Dive Club
This site's glaring font and loud colors don't simulate the relaxing dive experience of Brazil. But if you're willing to sustain the assault, you'll find a few useful sections here: lists of dive operators (with links) by city, club activities, profiles on dive spots, and a few underwater photos.

Rio Surf Page
Brazilians love their beaches, so you ought to see what all the fuss is about. Unfortunately, the "seeing" isn't so easy, as this site's Photo Gallery is down. But if you're willing to wait for loading, you will find a neat clickable map of Rio's beaches (with photos), web cam links, weather, and surf and marine links.
