Though the design is a bit out of date and the pages download slowly, it is still a highly rewarding art resource, with wonderful sample images from galleries, floor plans, and compelling history of one of the world's great museums.

Centre Georges Pompidou Museum
From this Beaubourg behemoth, a lovely website with a strong sampling of the permanent collection, and a wonderful look at touring exhibitions now and in the future. Unfortunately, however, they must be serving the site off a Univac, since this is one terribly slow site. Go first to "Satellite" for overview.

This clean, visually savvy guide to museums in Paris is unfortunately light on information. Facts are basic and descriptions perfunctory. Interesting categories, however, include museums by civilization and artist's studios and homes.

A gem of a one-pager--the barely known Musée Curie is the former laboratory of Marie Curie who with her husband was honored for work in both physics and chemistry. The writer of this site clearly fell in love with the secret romance of the place.
