This is the official website of British Waterways, the public body that maintains and develops England's waterways. A wealth of information on this site, including maps of the waterways and information on how to hire a boat, as well as details about the National Waterways Museum.

This site is a little difficult to navigate, but it has some great ideas and routes for exploring London's waterways. Maps are provided, although they could could use a little more detail. Attractions and sights described, as are pubs.
