Vesuvio Cafe/Bar
When you're in North Beach, you must stop by Vesuvio, the historic hang-out of San Francisco's beat poets--Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, and others. The cozy bar/cafe still has the spirit of those pioneering poets, with pictures all over the bar, cozy booths and friendly service.
